Scope of work included: issue and opportunity identification; public consultation; design solution development; lobbying for funding and political support; stakeholder coordination; and, implementation oversight. 

Strong communication and analytical skills were used to identify issues, and build consensus around creative solutions to traffic safety concerns. Within a tightening municipal financial climate tangible results were achieved that include:  two signalized pedestrian cross-overs; 3 bump-outs at intersections; de-paving of 4 parking spots at a MUP- road intersection; de-paving of 500 metres of municipal road verge; planting of 15 street trees; 4 speed humps; one speed board; and, the reduction of the signed speed limit to 40 km/h.
